Itinerary (approx. times)

9.00 – 9.30 AM: Transfer to Zaanse Schans

9.30 – 11.30: Free time to explore Zaanse Schans (famous for it’s windmills and traditional wooden houses)

11.30 – 12.00: Transfer to Edam

12.00 – 13.00: Guided townwalk along the impressive Great Church, the picturesque canals and historic merchants' houses, the iconic white “Kwakelbridge” and the charming Dam-square.

13.00 – 14.15: Free time (for lunch) 

14.15 – 15.15: Transfer to the medieval Muiderslot castle (admission fee included in the tour)

15.15 – 16.45: Free time to explore the castle (with excellent audio guide)

16.45 – 17.30: Transfer back to Amsterdam
